This is a race against time, and we urgently need your help. Baby Aysar Khaleef bin Ady Farhan, born in Penang, has been diagnosed with a severe congenital heart defect. He needs surgery within the first month of his life; otherwise, he faces the risk of heart failure and may not survive beyond six months.

Baby Aysar is currently in the hospital, relying on oxygen support, and waiting for his surgery. His worried parents are pleading for assistance to cover the RM100,000 surgical costs.

【The baby needs the surgery before he reaches one month old, and he is now two weeks old, with less than two weeks left until full term. Time is running out】

During a prenatal checkup at 30 weeks of pregnancy, doctors detected a cleft lip in the fetus. Although this condition would not be life-threatening, it was decided to wait until after birth to make further decisions.

The expected due date was September 16th, but on September 3rd, the mother's amniotic fluid broke early in the morning. Her husband rushed her to the hospital for delivery, but even the next day, a natural delivery was not possible. At this point, the baby's heartbeat became weaker, and an emergency C-section was recommended. Due to the mother's anesthesia, the baby was affected by the drugs and did not cry immediately after birth. He was promptly transferred to the intensive care unit for treatment, with a birth weight of 2.8 kilograms.

Subsequently, doctors discovered that the baby had rapid breathing. Further examination revealed transposition of the great arteries (TGA) and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). On the day after birth, he was referred to a central hospital for a balloon atrial septostomy (BAS) to temporarily allow blood circulation. However, the baby must undergo surgery to repair the heart defect within the first month of life, or he will not survive beyond six months.

The father, Ady Farhan bin Sukery (34 years old), works as a property management company manager with a monthly salary of RM 4,500. The mother, Anggi Soraya (29 years old), is an Indonesian lab technician who married her husband in Malaysia five years ago but currently holds a marriage visa that prevents her from working. The couple has a 4-year-old son.

Due to the father's previous unemployment and financial difficulties, the new job has not yet been held for six months. They have been relying on personal loans to make ends meet, and they are still repaying these loans. Their monthly expenses are tight, and they have no means to afford the surgery costs.

After a thorough review, One Hope Charity has decided to assist in raising the necessary medical expenses for the baby. The parents have agreed to entrust the fundraising activities to the ONE HOPE CHARITY, which will also collect the donations.
