"I am the only one in the family with a stable income, and I still need to bear the living expenses. I truly have no ability to afford the medical expenses. Please help us get through this difficult time."

47-year-old Ridzuan bin Zainul suddenly collapsed at home, with his mouth slanting and the right side of his body unable to move. His family quickly called for an ambulance, and the doctors diagnosed him with a stroke, requiring a referral to a specialized hospital for Mechanical Thrombectomy to remove the blood clot in his brain. The procedure needed to be performed urgently within the critical time frame, as failure to do so could lead to permanent paralysis or even death.

However, the substantial cost was beyond the means of this impoverished family, leaving Ridzuan's wife feeling desperate and helpless as they sought to raise the RM65,000 for the surgery.

【Doctors attempted to use thrombolytic drugs to dissolve the blood clot, but the efforts were unsuccessful, necessitating emergency surgery to remove the clot.】

In his younger years, 47-year-old Ridzuan used to work as an aircraft seat assembler. However, due to financial difficulties in the aviation industry, he was forced to stop working. He then developed gout, which made it challenging for him to carry heavy objects or hold a job for long periods. Consequently, he became an assistant in a restaurant and later started a small business selling beverages near his home, along with his wife's uncle, who suffers from leukemia, to make a living.

One afternoon, Ridzuan's mother-in-law found him collapsed at home, with his mouth slanted and the right side of his body paralyzed. He was diagnosed with a cerebral vascular obstruction. Despite the hospital's initial attempt to use thrombolysis to dissolve the clot, it was unsuccessful, prompting the immediate recommendation for Mechanical Thrombectomy.

Ridzuan's 38-year-old wife, Siti Narima bt Abd Rahim, works as a factory operator, earning a monthly salary of RM1500 . The couple does not have any children. However, Siti Narima is responsible for supporting her elderly mother and her two teenage nieces, aged 16 and 14, as her husband and brother-in-law are both ill and unable to work full-time. The family solely relies on her meager income, and every month is a struggle to make ends meet, leaving them unable to afford her husband's medical expenses and seeking assistance.

After a thorough assessment, the foundation decided to assist the patient in raising the required RM65,000 Malaysian Ringgit for the surgery. The family agreed to entrust the fundraising activities to ONE HOPE CHARITY in Taiping and authorized them to collect the donations.
