Taking up 3 acres of land and RM2 mil, this event which is organized in Auto City, Juru is participated by more than ten thousand of people. Penang’s Chief Minister, YAB Chow Kon Yeow, and directors of hospitals came to participate in this event and make it a special one.
The VIP was welcomed by One Hope Charity’s chairman, Dato’ Chua Sui Hau, advisor, Dato’ Sri R.Arunasalam, and other committee members.
One Hope Charity had prepared 5000 packs of essential items which cost RM350 each and Angpao which contains RM200. The recycle bag is filled with food and the Angpao provided is for the beneficiaries to purchase items that they required or for emergency use.
During the event, One Hope Charity also contributed to 5 NGO which consist of Province Wellesley Renal Medifund(PWRM) Dialysis Centre (RM10,000), Leisure Health Care Center (RM20,000), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Insan Penyayang Pulau Pinang (RM10,000), Sai Dwakamai Laxmi Home Care (RM2,000), Community AIDS Services Centre (CASP) (RM5,000). Also, 8 education units also receive contributions which consist of Jit Sin School Union BM Digital Library (RM20,000), LED Screen for SMK Jalan Damai (RM30,600), Pro-Acoustic Panel System for SMK Berapit (RM18,000), Smartboard for SK Mengkuang, SK Seberang Jaya, SJKC Perkampungan Berapit, SJKC Lay Keow, SJKT Permatang Tinggi (total RM85,000). The total contribution is approximately RM200,600.
