One Hope Charity "2023 Annual Giving 7000 Sets Essential Needs" continues its aid initiative by distributing 200 sets of supplies and ang pows to 3D cleaners of the Penang Island City Council (MBPP), expressing gratitude for their community service. The hope is that the RM100 worth of supplies will alleviate their burdens, while the RM200 ang pows will address their urgent needs.

Chairman of One Hope Charity, Dato' Chua Sui Hau, officially handed over the 200 sets of supplies to 200 beneficiaries from MBPP at the Grand 5th floor Komtar. In his speech at the ceremony, he acknowledged the hard work of the council's employees, recognizing their significant contributions to society. In celebration of One Hope Charity's 21st anniversary, this year, ang pows and supplies were once again distributed to the council's employees as a token of appreciation for their dedication.

He mentioned that during the charity event on December 3rd, a total of 7,000 sets of supplies and ang pows were distributed to poor households of all ethnicities in Penang, with a total value of RM2.1 million, including the 200 sets for MBPP.

Furthermore, the Mayor of Penang Island, Dato' Rajendran A/L P. Anthony, stated that One Hope Charity had increased its assistance to MBPP cleaners from 150 sets last year to 200 sets this year, amounting to a total aid of RM60,000. He expressed gratitude on behalf of the council's workers for the assistance provided by ONE HOPE CHARITY. He also acknowledged the council's stringent verification process to ensure that only eligible cleaners received the aid, aiming to alleviate their financial burdens.

He thanked the One Hope Charity for its charitable actions and hoped that the provided supplies and red packets would help lighten the financial load for MBPP employees.

Other attendees at the event included One Hope Charity's advisor, Dato' Sri R. Arunasalam, Vice Chairman Ang Chi Wei, Penang Island City Councillors, and department heads.
