The 26-year-old Chinese teen, who has had congenital heart disease since childhood, has recently deteriorated and requires immediate surgery to save his life. The ONE HOPE CHARITY used RM18,000 from the "Emergency Medical Reserve Fund" to allow him to have surgery at a convenient time. His condition is now stable and smooth. He recovered in the general ward following his observation period.

Lim An Hao from Teluk Intan, Perak was diagnosed with congenital heart disease at birth, with a hole in the heart and cardiovascular malformations. He had surgery when he was three weeks old. Following that, he had regular follow-up appointments at the National Heart Center (IJN).

The doctor told him he didn't need to take medicine and had regular check-ups until he was 7 years old. However, when he was 18 years old, he developed a persistent fever and difficulty breathing, necessitating hospitalization.

He was working in his father's motorcycle repair shop three years ago when he became short of breath and was rushed to Teluk Intan Hospital for treatment.

When he returned to the hospital for a follow-up visit a few days ago, the examination revealed that his blood arteries were swollen, preventing blood from flowing to the brain. He required immediate stent placement or risk having a stroke, coma, or even going into a vegetative state.

ONE HOPE CHARITY used RM18,000 from the "Emergency Medical Reserve Fund" to pay for his emergency heart surgery. Everything went swimmingly during the surgery. An Hao is currently being treated in the general ward and is expected to be released soon.

Because of societal donations, ONE HOPE CHARITY is able to provide emergency assistance in times of need.
