【Medical Assistance-Heart Examination and Treatment】A 6-year-old boy with severe and urgent irregular heart rhythms over the past two months. One Hope Charity provided RM22,400 in assistance to cover the testing and treatment expenses.

The lively 6-year-old boy, Tan Jun Bin, has been in and out of the hospital frequently for the past two months due to irregular heart rhythms. Despite medication, his condition remained uncontrollable. On July 20th, his condition became critical, and in the early morning, he was urgently transferred to the National Heart Institute (IJN). One Hope Charity allocated RM22,400 from the Emergency Medical Fund to cover his testing and treatment expenses.

Hailing from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Tan Jun Bin was diagnosed with congenital heart disease since birth. He underwent heart surgery as a child, but as he grew older, there were times when his heart couldn't handle excessive physical activity.

Recently, he started vomiting repeatedly at home, prompting his mother to take him for an examination at the Seberang Jaya Hospital. The report revealed that his heart was beating too fast and in an unusual rhythm. He was then referred to an electrophysiologist at the National Heart Institute (IJN) for further testing.

Given that specialized equipment was required for these tests, and the family couldn't afford the rental costs, they sought assistance from One Hope Charity. The father is a factory worker, and the mother is a homemaker. After a review and meeting, the foundation decided to provide assistance to cover the testing and treatment expenses.
