【Medical Assistance-angiogram】A 44-year-old woman is suffering from angina, and she fears that a heart attack could occur at any moment, preventing her from witnessing her daughter's university graduation. She earnestly seeks assistance for a heart angiogram.

A 44-year-old woman experienced severe numbness in her hands and face three years ago. After examinations raised suspicions of a heart blockage, she was initially prescribed medication by the doctor. Recently, she suffered from angina, and One Hope Charity allocated RM5,454.95 from the "Emergency Medical Fund" for her to undergo angiogram.

Tan Phik Kee, residing in Wawasan flats in Bukit Mertajam, is a housewife. Her 61-year-old husband lost his job after undergoing surgery to remove a tumor from his neck. Since then, they have been sustaining their livelihood by collecting recyclables. They have two daughters, both diligent students in university. The elder daughter is pursuing medical, and the younger one is studying mathematics. Both daughters rely on scholarships and the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) for their education.

Due to recurring angina, Phik Kee is concerned about the possibility of a heart attack and fears not being able to witness her daughter's graduation. Therefore, she applied to the foundation for assistance with a heart angiogram.

As the assistance amount does not exceed RM20,000, One Hope Charity has not initiated a fundraising campaign. Instead, they have wisely used the Emergency Medical Fund donations from the general public to cover the examination costs. If people find that their friends or family members require medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, crutches, oxygen machines, special milk powder, diapers, etc., they can apply to One Hope Charity for assistance. You can contact One Hope Charity at the hotline 016-4192192, 018-911 4192, or 04-5399212 for assistance.
