【Medical Assistance-Physical therapy】A 38-year-old Chinese man, who was involved in a car accident that resulted in a brain injury and left him paralyzed and bedridden, received assistance from the One Hope Charity. After previously providing powdered milk and adult diapers, One Hope Charity has now allocated RM8,400 to cover his three-month physical therapy expenses.

A 38-year-old Chinese man, Kew Chung Bee, was involved in a car accident two years ago, which resulted in a brain injury and left him paralyzed and bedridden. One Hope Charity had previously provided assistance in the form of adult diapers and powdered milk. This time, One Hope Charity allocated RM8,400 from the "Emergency Medical Fund" to support his ongoing physical therapy.

Kew Chung Bee, hailing from Penang Island, was involved in the accident on December 9, 2021, during his commute home from work. He was rushed to the hospital, where it was confirmed that he had suffered a brain hemorrhage. Despite surviving the ordeal, he lost his ability to move and required specialized care. After his discharge from the hospital, his family placed him in a nursing home where he could receive professional care.

One Hope Charity had previously provided assistance in the form of adult diapers and powdered milk. In this latest effort, they are providing financial support to cover his long-term three-month physical therapy expenses.
