Newborn baby Amarjeet Singh A/L Keramjeet Singh was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. He underwent surgery on August 3rd and, after passing through the critical period in the intensive care unit, was finally discharged and reunited with his parents on August 10th.

Father Keramjeet Singh A/L Kian Singh (35 years old) and mother Marriyama A/P Gopolan (28 years old), both from Kedah, visited One Hope Charity service center to express their gratitude for the assistance provided by the kind-hearted individuals in the community. Their appreciation stems from the fact that their baby has been saved from a life-threatening situation, a memory they will always cherish.

Baby Amarjeet is not only lively and adorable but also sleeps peacefully. He has now been freed from the need for respiratory support, no longer exhibiting the bluish discoloration caused by oxygen deprivation. This has allowed the parents to breathe a sigh of relief and look forward to raising their child with a greater sense of security.

Shortly after birth, Amarjeet Singh was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit due to a sudden drop in oxygen saturation levels, as he couldn't breathe spontaneously. The next day, he was referred to a central hospital for detailed examinations, which confirmed a complex congenital heart defect known as Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the life-saving assistance they received.
