With the blessing and financial aid coming from near and far, the palm-sized baby has shown positive growth development.

The fundraising campaign to reach RM1.2 million to fund for the micro preemie Eloise Ang Xuan Rui’s medical fee has achieved its goal in 29 hours. Both her parents and the public from all over the world have given her the faith to fight for her life.

Currently, the micro preemie have shown significant willpower to live. Her growth development has been positive, her body weight has been gradually increased, and the baby can be safely incubated until her growth development is complete. If her condition is stable, the hospital can arrange for transfer to the hospital in Malaysia for observation.

Yesterday, the One Hope Charity held a press conference on the launch of the fundraising campaign which created a huge impact worldwide. Not only the donations received from benevolent donors in Malaysia, but could also be traced all the way from Singapore, Brunei, Taiwan, The United States and many other countries, giving the blessings to the strong-willed micro preemie.

Eight days after Little Eloise was born, her food intake has also been gradually increased. Beforehand, she only intake 0.5ml of milk once every three hours; now she can drink 10ml in every three hours. The baby has been growing steadily since birth and with the medical expenses settled, the parents’ worry can be at ease for now.

Furthermore, our One Hope Charity App faced technical issues due to the sudden large influx of donations received and the technical staff have troubleshooted and the app is now working properly. If any donors used our app to make a donation but did not receive a receipt, the technical team would notify you with the latest info via the registered email. We thank you for your patience.

So far, Little Eloise’s condition has been doing well, and we will continue to follow up with her condition through the Singapore hospital. Once the doctor said that her condition is more stable to move, we will help arrange for her with her transfer to a hospital in Malaysia. The association will update on her progress from time to time, and we hope everyone can give her your support.
