Taman Nagasari is nder EMCO. 340 families are required to be isolated at hime for 2 weeks. One Hope Charity had received assistance application from a representative that 340 families requires food. One Hope Charity had used 2 days to prepare 340 packs of dry food to be delivered to Taman Nagasari which is under EMCO.
One Hope Charity had used 2 days to prepare food box which cost RM200 each to 340 families. The food box was passed to YB Gooi Hsiao Leung, from ADUN Bukit Tengah in 6th July, Tuesday. The boxes will be then distributed to relevant government department to be passed to the citizens.
Seberang Tengah district's Taman Nagasari is under EMCO from 4th July till 17th July. One Hope Charity had received application from YB Gooi Hsiao Leung on Saturday for essential items assistance.
One Hope Charity's Chairman, Mr. Chua Sui Hau stated that in order to lessen the stress of the citizen under EMCO and avoiding escape, We are required to fasten the preparation of 340 boxes of food.
He said that YB Gooi called to inform that 340 families from Taman Nagasari which is under EMCO were worried about food. Certain low income families' had been greatly affected by MCO and are under greater stress. As a result, he came forward to seek help from One Hope Charity.
Mr. Chua Sui Hau thanked the public for the donations and this had helped made things possible.

The food box includes 2kg Milo, Nescafe, 2 canned bake beans,2 canned sardine, 1kg butter, 3-in 1 Nestum, 500g of peanut butter, a tin of biscuit, a pack of instant noodle, 1.2kg of oats, 1 box of medical mask and 1 bottle of sanitiser.
Mr. Chua Sui Hau added that One Hope Charity had started Covid-19 relief program in June this year. Besides aiding beneficiaries with food boxes, One Hope Charity also send foods to outskirts. One Hope Charity also started using courier to send out food boxes.
Yb Gooi thanked One Hope Charity for the swift assistance and helped 340 families solving their food issue.
He stated that Taman Nagasari had only few sundry shops and will not be able to cope the needs. Hence, the food boxes provided by One Hope Charity had helped nearly 3000 individuals from starvation.
