Three-year-old Ding Qiao Wei, from Perak, has successfully undergone cochlear implant surgery and has completed the activation process. She is currently undergoing speech therapy. Recently, her mother brought her to One Hope Charity to express their gratitude.

"Thank you, uncle, auntie, brother, sister," the adorable and well-behaved Qiao Wei thanked everyone in her innocent child's voice.

Originally scheduled for surgery on October 10th, a preoperative examination revealed inflammation of the child's eardrum. After her condition stabilized, the surgery to implant the cochlear implant was performed on December 12th.

Three-year-old Ding Qiao Wei from Ipoh, Perak, was unable to speak despite her age. Doctors diagnosed her with hearing loss, and only her right ear had the opportunity for surgery. The parents' greatest hope is to hear their child call them "mom" and "dad."

With the successful cochlear implant surgery, the parents have promised to ensure regular speech therapy for their child. They will also continue daily communication and interaction within the family, hoping that their child will adapt to and perceive the world of sound. They aspire for her to catch up with her peers in language acquisition and overcome the fate of deaf-muteness. They hope Qiao Wei grows up healthy and happy, keeping pace with her peers' learning progress. They express their gratitude for everyone's assistance.
