The baby girl NUR ARISHA SOFEA BINTI MOHD FADLI, who was born with a serious heart disease and had to undergo surgery to continue her life, has recovered and discharged from the hospital after undergoing heart surgery. The mother has also frowned from earlier concerns about her daughter’s illness.
The baby suffers from progressive cyanosis when she was born and doctor realized that she suffer from congenital heart disease. She was then transferred to Penang general hospital. Surgery had been performed on her once she reached to allow her to breath on her own but it can only temporarily relieve the condition.
In her case, the blood vessel must be repaired and reversed and other defects must be repaired, otherwise the heart will fail day by day. Seeing her daughter's condition is urgent, at that time mother came to One Hope Charity for assistance three days after giving birth. Talking about her daughter's situation, she also cried worriedly.
The baby girl underwent surgery on January 5, which took 7 hours to complete. Everything went smoothly. She was transferred to the general ward after being observed in the intensive care unit for 4 days and was allowed to be discharged on January 16.
Our team also visited her earlier. The baby girl was asleep at the time, and her mother was trying to wake her up, but she still couldn't open her eyes, and continued to fall asleep. She was really cute.
The mother said that baby situation is progressing well, and she especially wants to thank all the kind and benevolent donor who have extended a helping hand to her baby, so that her children can grow up healthy and happy.
