Due to the urgency of the situation, in order to avoid emergencies, Eng Jit Hau underwent surgery to place a cardiac resynchronisation therapy defibrillator (CRTD) on April 6. The operation went well and he is currently under observation in the intensive care unit.

Forced to abandon his dream of becoming an athlete, he now prioritises his family and health. He plans to get married next year, so he hopes that after the operation, he will work hard to earn money and take on the important task of supporting his wife and children. He is grateful to the public for its assistance in saving his life.

After 15 years, the battery is now exhausted. He needs to upgrade his equipment and install a cardiac resynchronization defibrillator (CRTD), otherwise his heart will stop at any time.
