Father had nasopharyngeal cancer and had previously undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy. To supplement his nutrition and energy, he required a special milk powder. His wife worked as a cleaner and could not afford milk powder for a long time.

Tan Tin Hun (59 years old) from Perai was diagnosed with stage 2 nasopharyngeal carcinoma in 2014. He underwent several rounds of electrotherapy and chemotherapy at Penang Hospital, and he now makes routine follow-up trips there. The nutritionist suggested he drink a special milk powder every day to supplement the nutrition the body requires.

His wife is a cleaner who earns RM1,000 per month. The eldest daughter, 22, is a student at Sabah University, and the youngest daughter is in secondary school. He currently does not have a job, and his family's expenses are met by his wife's salary and SOSCO assistance, so he would have applied for help from him.

One Hope Charity approved his application after a home visit and evaluation to assist him get through the challenging times.
