The wife, a 44-year-old Indian woman from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, is facing the burden of supporting her family alone since her husband was wrongly associated with criminal acquaintances three years ago, leading to his imprisonment.

Before his incarceration, her husband worked as a construction contractor.

Currently, the wife works as a part-time dishwasher in a restaurant, earning a daily wage of RM40. Unfortunately, her siblings have their own family responsibilities and are unable to provide any assistance.

The couple has two children, a 9-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Their eldest daughter has been suffering from a condition that causes a curvature in her right ankle since birth. Due to this, she holds an OKU (Orang Kurang Upaya) card and receives financial assistance from the Ministry of Social Welfare on a monthly basis. She requires weekly treatments at Penang General Hospital.

Upon receiving her plea for help, ONE HOPE CHARITY, conducted a home visit and subsequently approved aid in the form of dry rations and milk powder for the family.
