Abandoned by her stepson and left paralyzed in bed, 85-year-old Amnah Binti Bakar is being cared for by her 75-year-old sister, both of whom are elderly. One Hope Charity is assisting with powdered milk and diapers to help alleviate their burden.

Amnah, now paralyzed and bedridden for five months, requires diapers due to her condition. Both she and her sister are elderly, and with no support from her stepson, they sought help from the local village community council (MPKK), which then referred them to One Hope Charity.

Upon receiving the referral, One Hope Charity dispatched volunteers to conduct a home visit and assess the situation. Amnah suffers from hypertension and requires regular medication and follow-up appointments. According to her sister, Amnah's husband has passed away, and the couple had previously adopted a son who has been missing for several years.

The two elderly sisters reside together in their ancestral home in the rural village, where their daily needs are attended to by the younger sister. Amnah requires the use of diapers and special powdered milk for nutritional supplementation.

The younger sister's husband passed away over a year ago, and the couple had also adopted a son. Their 30-year-old adopted son has since moved away after getting married.

Both Amnah and her sister receive financial assistance from religious organizations and the welfare department. However, due to their advanced age and inability to leave the house, the younger sister's adopted son helps manage their bank cards, withdrawing funds and delivering a portion of the assistance money to his aunt. After reviewing their case, One Hope Charity decided to provide assistance in the form of powdered milk and diapers for Amnah.
