At the beginning of this year, the head of a family started experiencing headaches and sought medical attention at a government clinic. Subsequently, he underwent a CT scan at a government hospital, revealing a 5cm tumor in his brain. A month later, he underwent surgery and biopsy at a central hospital to remove the tumor.

In May, while riding in a friend's car, the man became unwittingly entangled in a drug-related situation due to prohibited items found in the car, leading to his incarceration in prison. However, fate's twists and turns didn't stop there. In mid-June, the hospital notified his wife that the tumor biopsy confirmed stage IV brain cancer. Later in late June, his wife received notice from the prison that her husband had suffered a stroke and was sent to the central hospital for treatment. He underwent surgery in mid-July.

Prior to falling ill, the man worked as a car mechanic, earning a daily wage of only RM50. His wife is a housewife, and they have four children ranging in age from 7 to 12 years old.

Currently, the wife and children rely on assistance from the Social Welfare Department to sustain their livelihood. Since the wife has not yet found employment, they have sought food aid from ONE HOPE CHARITY.

Upon receiving the request for assistance, representatives from ONE HOPE CHARITY conducted a home visit and review before deciding to provide aid.
