Kaliappan A/L Karuppannan, 74 years old, used to work as a janitor with a monthly salary of RM600. He resigned from his job 9 years ago due to health issues. Living with him is his 36-year-old son, who has had a limb length discrepancy since birth and is a disabled person holding an OKU card. His son experiences weakness and pain in both legs, making it difficult for him to work in a stable job. Both father and son rely on a monthly welfare allowance of RM700 to sustain their living expenses.

The elderly man's wife passed away over a decade ago, and they have two children together: a 38-year-old married daughter with one child and a 36-year-old disabled son. Currently, both father and son reside in a small wooden house in Butterworth. Their monthly living expenses are solely supported by the social welfare aid they receive.

Upon receiving the plea for help, ONE HOPE CHARITY conducted a home visit and approved the provision of food aid to them.
