A 57-year-old single man from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, experienced a sudden fainting spell while working at the end of last year. After being hospitalized and undergoing examinations, he was diagnosed with a stroke. At the time, his condition was not suitable for surgery, so he spent a week in the hospital under observation before being allowed to leave.

Kam Kooi Heng (57 years old), discovered he had hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes after suffering a stroke. He is currently on medication to manage these conditions. Following the stroke, he lost mobility in his right limbs and is unable to care for himself, so he resides with his younger brother. Kooi Heng requires monthly visits to government hospitals and clinics for follow-up appointments and physical therapy.

In addition to caring for his brother, his younger brother also looks after their 78-year-old mother. Last year, their mother had a fall at home, resulting in mobility difficulties. Her leg muscles have also atrophied, leaving her unable to care for herself. Both Kooi Heng and his mother require a significant amount of adult diapers each month, and they also rely on powdered milk for nutrition. Due to the substantial expenses for milk powder and diapers, the family sought assistance from the ONE HOPE CHARITY to help alleviate their financial burden.

Upon receiving their request for assistance, ONE HOPE CHARITY conducted a home visit and decided to provide aid in the form of powdered milk and adult diapers to help ease their financial burden.
