The 48-year-old man has severe diabetes and requires insulin shots four times a day. He was admitted to the hospital in October of last year for surgery due to pus on his arm. Due to diabetes, he also lost his sight after the surgery.

Lee Yeat Hoo, who lives in a Penang HDB apartment, sold fruit near his house before losing his sight, and his 38-year-old wife sold noodle. However, once the husband lost his sight, the wife was unable to operate a noodle business for the time being since she needed to care for him. The family had no source of income.

Four years ago, Yeat Hoo was diagnosed with serious diabetes. In addition to self-injection of insulin, he must take daily medicine to control his diabetes. Diabetes produced numerous difficulties, including eyesight and urination issues.

Because the family did not have any money, the wife applied to ONE HOPE CHARITY for the items her husband need. ONE HOPE CHARITY decided to offer diapers, dry food, insulin needles, and medicines after conducting house visits and inspections.
