Ng Ho Yan, a 24-year-old single Chinese woman from Penang, has been diagnosed with a serious genetic condition since childhood, resulting in the growth of tumors of various sizes on her body. She has undergone five surgeries to remove these benign tumors. However, last June, she discovered a lump in her left breast, and subsequent tests confirmed that she had stage 2 breast cancer. Despite having insurance, she has received multiple chemotherapy treatments in a private hospital.

Ng Ho Yan's father, aged 65, works as a casual laborer, and her mother has passed away. She used to work as a secretary but had to stop working during her chemotherapy due to physical weakness. Her doctors recommended that she drink milk powder to supplement her energy, so she applied to ONE HOPE CHARITY for assistance with milk powder and food provisions to help alleviate the financial burden on her family.

Upon receiving her request for assistance, ONE HOPE CHARITY conducted a home visit, and their board approved the provision of milk powder and food provisions to support Ng Ho Yan as she undergoes chemotherapy treatment. This assistance will enable her to focus on her treatment and recovery.
