66-year-old Indian widow, Sellamah A/P Rajoo, relies on a meager income to sustain her life by living frugally. The One Hope Charity provides her with food assistance to alleviate her financial burden.

Residing in Butterworth, Penang, Sellamah A/P Rajoo has been living alone in a low-cost flat since her husband passed away. Estranged from her children, she works as a cleaner near her home, earning a daily wage of only RM30.

Her husband passed away due to a stroke seven years ago. She has one daughter and two sons from her marriage. After her children got married, they stopped contacting her, leaving her to work and support herself.

Upon receiving her request for assistance, One Hope Charity sent representatives to her home for a visit. The organization's board approved providing her with food assistance to help improve her situation.
