Cheah Chia Chong, a 64-year-old orphan, died in a hospice care facility. Because there are no family members, ONE HOPE CHARITY has raised funds from the general public to provide the deceased with coffins, funerals, and a columbarium, allowing him to complete his final journey with dignity.

Chia Chong was recently admitted to the hospital for illness treatment but was later referred to a hospice care centre because he had no relatives in critical condition. He died unexpectedly after a short stay in the care centre.

ONE HOPE CHARITY will handle the deceased according to Malaysia Ministry of Health regulations on handling dead body.

After understanding and checking the information, ONE HOPE CHARITY gathered the donations to donate the coffin and all the funeral expenses.

If there are any poor or needy who could not afford and manage the funeral for their loved ones, or there are any elderly living alone who are interested in registering for the “Promise of the Last Journey” programme, kindly contact ONE HOPE CHARITY at 016-419 2192, 019-232 2192 or 04-539 9212 for help.
