The mother, who is of the Dusun tribe and 40 years old, was working as a security officer in Negeri Sembilan. She had no pregnancy symptoms, and the baby did not show any signs of movement. Due to these factors, she was unaware of the presence of a little life inside her.

She had traveled to Penang to visit her sister, who worked in Bukit Mertajam. Unexpectedly, on the evening of her arrival in Bukit Mertajam, she suddenly collapsed at her sister's house. Her sister discovered her unconscious and immediately rushed her to the hospital for emergency treatment. She was in a state of hypoxia, so the doctors administered oxygen to her. It was during this time that the doctors discovered she was seven months pregnant. With her sister's consent, an emergency cesarean section was performed.

The mother was in a coma during the caesarean section, and when the baby was delivered, it was found that the baby had suffered from hypoxia due to meconium aspiration. The baby was immediately admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and received resuscitation. It took 30 minutes for the baby to have a heartbeat after birth, but after struggling for eight days, the baby eventually passed away due to brain death and an inability to breathe independently.

Upon receiving the request for assistance, One Hope Charity gathered donations from the public to assist the Dusun mother in handling the body of her baby, providing a coffin for the baby, and conducting a proper burial, along with offering prayers for the baby's soul to rest in peace.

One Hope Charity expresses gratitude to the general public for their regular contributions, which enable them to help more needy families and provide support for the elderly in dealing with end-of-life matters.
