The middle-aged bachelor did not leave his room for two days. His brother, who lived with him, smelled the odor and broke down the door, only to find his brother dead on the ground. ONE HOPE CHARITY collects donations from the generous public in order to provide coffins, funeral expenses, and a columbarium for the deceased.

Kok Chee Wah (59) has always been a recluse, rarely communicating with his brother. He became even more depressed a few years ago after injuring his leg and being unable to work. He only left his room around midnight to eat in the kitchen.

The deceased had two older brothers, one of whom worked but earned an inconsistent income. ONE HOPE CHARITY also assisted in the funeral of the deceased's younger sister, Kok Siew Chin, who died in August of this year. The elder brother approached ONE HOPE CHARITY for assistance in dealing with the death of his younger brother.

After receiving help, One Hope Charity sent staff to Ipoh state to get more about the details, and decided to help with funeral expenses and columbarium expenses.

After understanding and checking the information, ONE HOPE CHARITY gathered the donations to donate the coffin and all the funeral expenses.

If there are any poor or needy who could not afford and manage the funeral for their loved ones, or there are any elderly living alone who are interested in registering for the “Promise of the Last Journey” programme, kindly contact ONE HOPE CHARITY at 016-419 2192, 019-232 2192 or 04-539 9212 for help.
