A 74-year-old Chinese elderly man, who lived alone, went missing after leaving home without a trace. His family reported the incident to the police and placed advertisements in newspapers to find him. Finally, a passerby found the elderly man collapsed on the roadside and rushed him to the hospital. After being discharged, his nephew arranged for him to be taken care of in a nursing home.

The elderly man, Lee Ah Leong, passed away peacefully in his bed after resting for the night in early June. Upon receiving the news, One Hope Charity gathered the donations from generous donors to arrange his funeral and let him depart from this life with dignity.

One Hope Charity utilizes the donations received from kind-hearted individuals to assist with funeral arrangements and post-burial matters, according to the deceased's religious beliefs and the wishes of the family.

The regular contributions from compassionate people from various places allow One Hope Charity to provide timely assistance to underprivileged families in emergencies, ensuring dignified farewells for the less fortunate deceased and offering end-of-life care for lonely elderly individuals.
