To ensure that impoverished families and elderly individuals can prepare and plan for their final arrangements during their lifetime, the One Hope Charity & Welfare introduced the "Promise of the last journey" care program eight years ago. Since then, many applications from impoverished elderly individuals have been received.

In October and November of this year, One Hope Charity assisted 19 deceased individuals by providing coffins and funeral assistance, with four of them being beneficiaries of this care program.

Launched in 2015, the "Promise of the last journey" care program addresses the challenges faced by impoverished elderly couples without children. When one spouse passes away, the surviving spouse often feels lost and, due to financial constraints, cannot handle the funeral arrangements.

The care program is open for applications from impoverished families and elderly individuals of all ethnicities. Once they or their family members pass away, the foundation takes responsibility for handling their final arrangements.

One Hope Charity expresses gratitude to the community for their regular donations, sponsorships, and contributions of niches. This support enables the foundation to assist more impoverished families and elderly individuals in managing end-of-life matters. If you are interested in making a donation, you are welcome to contribute at any time, as it will serve as ongoing support for future needs.

Additionally, if there are impoverished families who cannot manage post-mortem arrangements for their deceased relatives or single elderly individuals who need pre-registration assistance, they can contact ONE HOPE CHARITY's hotline for help at 016-920 2920, 016-419 2192, or 04-539 9212.
