Tan Lian Choo, an 80-year-old homeless woman, lost her ability to care for herself in her early years due to old age and infirmity. Furthermore, her brothers and sisters have died, and her descendants have ignored her. Fortunately, the Ministry of Welfare arranged for him to spend his golden years in a government nursing home.

She died a few days ago in a nursing home from an illness. ONE HOPE CHARITY immediately dispatched staff to handle the elderly woman's funeral after receiving notification from the nursing home. ONE HOPE CHARITY has also added a columbarium for the elderly woman. The ashes of the elderly woman will be interred in the Bukit Mertajam Columbarium for the convenience of Qingming worshippers.

ONE HOPE CHARITY makes good use of money donated by generous people for coffins and funerals and handles all funeral affairs for the deceased in accordance with the dead's religious beliefs and the wishes of their families.

ONE HOPE CHARITY and the beneficiary families are grateful to kind-hearted people from all over the world for their daily donations, which allow us to assist this group of poor families in emergency situations and provide hospice care to the poor and widowed elderly.

If there are any poor or needy who could not afford and manage the funeral for their loved ones, or there are any elderly living alone who are interested in registering for the “Promise of the Last Journey” programme, kindly contact ONE HOPE CHARITY at 016-419 2192, 019-232 2192 or 04-539 9212 for help.
