Tan Seng Hai, a 70-year-old Chinese single man, was unable to care for himself in 2021 due to hydrocephalus. He is fortunate to be single and widowed, with a niece who adores him. Despite her low income, the niece uses the majority of her earnings to pay for the old man's nursing home care. One Hope Charity has also frequently donated diapers to the elderly.

One Hope Charity received a call from the family a few days ago informing them that the old man had passed away in the nursing home, and One Hope Charity gathered the usual donations to provide the old man with a coffin and funeral arrangements.

ONE HOPE CHARITY can make good use of donations to deal with the aftermath of these helpless old people when they are needed, thanks to the public's continuous donations.

If there are any poor or needy who could not afford and manage the funeral for their loved ones, or there are any elderly living alone who are interested in registering for the “Promise of the Last Journey” programme, kindly contact ONE HOPE CHARITY at 016-920 2920, 016-419 2192 or 04-539 9212 for help.
