The 81-year-old woman, Yeoh Chooi Sua, passed away in the hospital. She had several family members who were either ill or had lost their ability to work due to illness or accidents. The family's economic support relied solely on a hardworking daughter. Fortunately, this family had been receiving continuous assistance and care from One Hope Charity for an extended period.

The elderly woman was also a participant in One Hope Charity's "Promise of the last journey" care program. Upon receiving news of her passing, One Hope Charity gathered contributions from various donors and utilized these funds to provide a coffin, cremation, and handle all funeral arrangements for her.

One Hope Charity promotes the "Promise of the last journey" care plan, allowing elderly individuals without family support to register in advance. This way, One Hope Charity can fulfill their funeral wishes after their passing.

Thanks to the regular donations from the public, the foundation can promptly assist more needy families and elderly individuals in handling their affairs after their passing. Those interested in contributing can donate at any time, as this support is ongoing to meet unforeseen needs.

Additionally, if there are impoverished families who cannot manage post-mortem arrangements for their deceased relatives or single elderly individuals who need pre-registration assistance, they can contact ONE HOPE CHARITY's hotline for help at 016-920 2920, 016-419 2192, or 04-539 9212.
