A 52-year-old drug addict was found dead outside the house in Butterworth, Penang. His ex-wife and distant relatives were unable to handle his funeral. ONE HOPE CHARITY has utilised the donations from the public to arrange a funeral for him.

The police found the distant relatives who stay in Sungai Siput, Perak. However, the distant relatives have been unemployed for a long time and cannot afford the funeral expenses. ONE HOPE CHARITY arranged a complete Hindu ceremony for him, as well as the responsible on funeral and cremation expenses.

Since there is no relatives and friends were present, the representative of ONE HOPE CHARITY performed a sacred lighting ceremony during the cremation.

One Hope Charity has always been providing funeral and burial assistances to poor and underprivileged families. As long as a family fulfilled the qualifications, One Hope Charity would take charge of the funeral expenses, so that the family could give their loved one a dignified send-off.
