"I hope that after the medication, my condition will improve because I really look forward to getting back to the field, playing football, and having fun with my friends."

This year, 12-year-old Kaarthikesan A/L Murugan hopes to continue his medication once the funds are raised to treat his Crohn's Disease. Currently on steroid medication, he also needs antibody drugs as he has been diagnosed with 40% inflammation in the intestines.

Upon learning that the necessary funds have been raised, mother Thiruniraiselvi A/P Malayandi feels immense joy. She hopes that with the support and blessings from the public, her son can be relieved from the torment of abdominal pain and diarrhea, continue attending school, and gradually improve the family's situation.

After Kaarthikesan was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, his father, Murugan A/L Nallathamby, was found to have a benign tumor in the pituitary gland at the end of last year. After the surgery, he needs about two years to recover his health, and the possibility of permanently losing the ability to work cannot be ruled out. With the head of the family down, the son urgently needs medication, making life difficult for the caregiver.

One Hope Charity expresses gratitude to all kind-hearted individuals for providing timely support to Kaarthikesan and his family, hoping that the family of three can smoothly overcome these challenges.
