"Even though our child is special, in our hearts, she will always be our precious one. We will give her double the love and accompany her as she grows."

Facing the uniqueness of their child, mother Hung Xin Yi expressed that she had accumulated a lot of negative emotions during their time in the hospital, without an outlet to release them. Upon being referred to the hospital in Kuala Lumpur, the successive news about their child almost pushed her to the brink of collapse, resulting in tears every day. There were even thoughts of ending it all together with the child, but fortunately, the hospital provided emotional counseling.

She mentioned that previously, with doctors and nurses around in the hospital, she felt supported, but now, with the child being discharged, she feels the pressure deeply. Fortunately, her mother-in-law helps to share the burden, allowing her to catch her breath.

Loh Yun Xi from Tampin, Negeri Sembilan, was born seemingly normal, but at the confinement center, the nanny noticed abnormal breathing sounds. Despite seeking medical attention, nothing unusual was found until the child started wheezing at five months old. Since then, they have been hospitalized for seven months, with the mother staying by the child's side 24/7.

The child requires long-term use of BIPAP to aid breathing, along with subsequent daily care, genetic testing expenses, and a specially made wheelchair, which amounts to a medical cost of RM60,000.

The fundraising goal of RM60,000 for Yun Xi was met within three hours, and the fundraising is now closed. The parents are very grateful for the support and assistance provided by the organization and the public.
