Marvin Das A/L Sri Mohanadass, who suffers from aplastic anemia, has successfully completed his stem cell transplant and has finally been discharged from the hospital after several weeks of treatment, reuniting with his family at home! With the RM 48,060 successfully raised through One Hope Charity by his parents in January, he was promptly admitted to the hospital for treatment.

After the transplantation of stem cells donated by his brother, Devadas, Marvin Das experienced various discomforts, including fever and vomiting. Doctors explained that this was mainly due to the new stem cells being introduced into his body, which required time for adjustment. With the prayers and blessings of many, coupled with his strong will and the support of his family, his condition gradually improved, with his white blood cell count increasing. Although he occasionally experienced fever and discomfort, his overall condition remained stable.

The family once again expresses gratitude for One Hope Charity's support, the timely assistance from the public, and the diagnosis and care provided by the medical staff, which enabled Marvin Das to receive treatment in a short period. He was discharged on February 22nd and will be resting and observed at home. Additionally, he will need to follow up at the hospital weekly for at least a month to ensure the gradual recovery of various cells in his blood.

"My body is slowly improving, and I have gained 1 kg in weight. Thank you very much to everyone!"

One Hope Charity is grateful for the blessings and assistance from all kind-hearted individuals and believes that Marvin Das will soon return to school and to his favorite football field to unleash his vitality once again.
