"Mom has been in the hospital for a month. I am not only worried about her health but also frustrated by the overwhelming cost of medications. I truly appreciate everyone willing to help us. In the future, I will definitely donate to One Hope to assist families facing similar difficulties like ours.

Mau Anak Ngadan, a 57-year-old woman from Sarawak, Malaysia, has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Mucormycosis. She has undergone multiple tests and is in critical condition, relying on a ventilator and supplemental oxygen.

Her 30-year-old only son, Nickelus David, expresses concerns about his mother's health and feels powerless due to the high medical expenses. Being the only child, the responsibility of taking care of his parents falls solely on him. He shuttles between home and the hospital to care for his father and mother, facing immense challenges.

Fortunately, the woman has successfully passed the critical stage and no longer requires respiratory support. However, she needs a six-month course of medication to eliminate the fungal infection. With the required RM41,769 medication cost fully funded, the son is extremely grateful and hopes for his mother's speedy recovery.
