A 70-year-old woman suffering from severe osteoporosis, with her husband, who has eye problems and no children, rely on earning a modest income by assisting at a nearby stall to make a living. One Hope Charity assists the elderly woman with medication injections to reduce bone loss and the risk of fractures.

71-year-old Chew Yoke Meng and her husband are passengers of One Hope Charity's disability-friendly shuttle service and are among the groups long-term cared for by One Hope Charity. Despite having no children and facing occasional financial difficulties, the couple remains positive in facing life.

Recently, the elderly woman experienced severe lower back pain, preventing her from working. Upon medical examination, it was discovered that she suffers from severe osteoporosis, putting her at risk of fractures.

The doctor recommended medication injections, but the elderly woman could not afford them and sought assistance from One Hope Charity. After a home visit and review, One Hope Charity approved her application and arranged for her to receive treatment as soon as possible.
