Choo Tee Tee, a 66-year-old man from Butterworth, lost his hearing suddenly three months ago. The doctor removed the earwax after the examination. However, the situation did not improve, and it was eventually determined that he had presbycusis, and that both ears required hearing aids to assist with sound reception.

Choo Tee Tee sought medical treatment for his hearing loss earlier this year. The doctor informed him that he frequently dug his ears with cotton swabs. Part of the cotton thread plugged his ears, impairing his hearing. Even after the doctor cleaned up the dirt, he couldn't hear the sound clearly.

Choo Tee Tee helped sell stationery at Chai Leng Park Market, earning RM25 per day. His 60-year-old wife is a housewife with no children. His wife was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago and is undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy right now.

Choo Tee Tee finally wore a hearing aid and regained his hearing after One Hope Charity approved the assistance.
