Because of sleep apnea, they must sleep in a sitting position to prevent breathing difficulties. However, this has caused poor sleeping quality and affected their lifestyle.

Have you ever heard about sudden death, death during sleeping? A young and healthy person may face this issue and this is known as Onstructive Sleeping Apnea-OSA.

Snoring, headache, mood swing, memory change are the symptoms of OSA. The muscle in the nasal passage and trachea is relaxed and causing difficulties in breathing and eventually causing death.

Quah Ai Khim (54 Yrs old), Chilvi A/P Muniandy (52 Yrs old), Valarmathy A/P Arujunanare (44 Yrs old) and Pang Yuen Khim (40 Yrs old) the patients suffering from sleep apnea and required breathing aid to sleep, otherwise they would risk suffering breathing difficulties when fallen asleep.

They are unable to sleep normally and have to wake up once every 1-2 hours due to their conditions. This has caused them to lack in focus and has led to frequent naps, affecting the lives and those around them.

One Hope Charity has received their cases through home review visits, and has agreed to donate CPAP Machine to the two patients, in hopes that they are able to sleep normally and be able to get back on their feets.
