A 3-year-old girl, suffering from cerebral palsy, has weak limbs and is unable to sit steadily without any support. When sitting, her head naturally tilts downward.

Nur Hana Fatihah from Balik Pulau was originally an active and lively child. Earlier this year, she suddenly developed a fever and earache, prompting her parents to take her to the hospital for examination. She was subsequently diagnosed with neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, which led to her cerebral palsy. After two months of treatment in the hospital, she was finally allowed to go home.

After being discharged, she was unable to sit up and required constant care from her family. She had to use a feeding tube to obtain the necessary nutrition. Her father works as a clerk in a freight company with a monthly salary of 1800 Malaysian Ringgit, and her mother worked as a factory operator earning 2000 Malaysian Ringgit per month but quit her job to take care of Hana Fatihah after her illness. Hana Fatihah also has a 5-month-old younger brother.

Hana Fatihah needs to visit the hospital in 10 different departments regularly, requiring 3 to 4 check-ups per month. Therefore, she needs a custom-made wheelchair to support her weak limbs and spine while also facilitating her monthly hospital visits to prevent further spinal deformities.

One Hope Charity received the request for assistance and sent representatives to the family's home for a visit. The board decided to provide the special wheelchair needed for the girl. The mother is deeply grateful for the foundation's assistance."
