60-year-old Chinese woman, Ong Siew Choo, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer four years ago. After undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, her condition has stabilized. The foundation has provided assistance in the form of nutritional supplements, a wheelchair, and a walking cane for her.

Ong Siew Choo was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2020, with cancer cells having spread to other organs. She immediately began multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments, with additional treatments for recurrence. Currently, her condition is considered stable. However, the repeated treatments have left her weakened and experiencing side effects, especially causing weakness in her legs, requiring a walking cane at home and a wheelchair for mobility when going out.

She receives monthly assistance from SOSCO and relies on savings from her husband (63 years old), who is retired, and her son and daughter's earnings. Both her son and daughter work, and their combined income covers the family's daily expenses.

Upon receiving the application, the ONE HOPE CHARITY sent representatives to her home for a visit. Afterward, the board approved the provision of a walking cane and wheelchair for her, along with nutritional supplements, to ensure she receives adequate nutrition.
