72-year-old Indian man, Singaram A/L Thiagarajam, was hit by a hit-and-run driver last October. Now paralyzed and bedridden, he requires assistance from family members for daily activities. Our organization provided one custom wheelchair and dry rations to help them through this difficult time.

Singaram suffered severe head injuries confirmed by doctors after the hit-and-run incident. He spent a month in the hospital before being allowed to return home for recovery. Now paralyzed and bedridden, he also suffers from bedsores and can only consume milk powder for nutrition. His wife, aged 74, and their son, who has mental health issues, are responsible for his care.

Singaram is a retired bus driver who had previously battled cancer, from which he has now recovered. His wife retired two years ago from her job as a cleaner. Currently, they live with their son who has mental health issues, and he is tasked with taking care of Singaram's daily needs.

Singaram requires a special wheelchair for easier transportation to hospital appointments, so his family requested assistance from ONE HOPE CHARITY. After a home visit by representatives from ONE HOPE CHARITY and approval from the board, we provided a wheelchair, dry rations, and milk powder to Singaram's family to alleviate their burden.
