After suffering a stroke, 74-year-old Che Amah Binti Mahamud, has been bedridden, relying on her family for daily care. ONE HOPE CHARITY has kindly lent her an electric hospital bed to make it easier for her daughter to take care of her. Additionally, they have provided assistance in the form of powdered milk, adult diapers, and food supplies.

Che Amah Binti Mahamud resides in Bukit Mertajam and has been battling hypertension and diabetes for many years. In May of this year, she suffered a second stroke, leaving her paralyzed and confined to her home. Currently, she can only consume powdered milk through a feeding tube.

The elderly woman's husband has already passed away, and her family relies on his remaining pension to support their livelihood. She has seven children, but currently, only her single daughter is taking care of her. The family receives aid from the Welfare Department each month, but it is still not enough to cover all their expenses.

In order to facilitate better care from her daughter, the family reached out to ONE HOPE CHARITY for assistance with an electric hospital bed, adult diapers, and powdered milk. Upon receiving their request for help, One Hope Charity sent representatives to conduct a home visit. After the assessment, the board approved providing food assistance for a duration of three months to help them through this challenging time.
