A 71-year-old woman, Tan Cham Ling, diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer, has returned home for rest after receiving treatment at the hospital. ONE HOPE CHARITY provides assistance in the form of milk powder, medication, and lends a hospital bed.

Tan Cham Ling, an Indian widow, has been relying on her 50-year-old son's family for support since her Chinese husband passed away due to a heart attack eight years ago. She was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2021 and has undergone multiple treatments and follow-ups over the past two years. This year, she was diagnosed with a tumor in the uterus, along with recurring issues such as swelling, fever, and diarrhea.

Currently, she relies on her son's meager salary and the monthly assistance from the welfare department, including diapers. The family's financial capacity is limited, making it challenging to bear additional expenses. Therefore, they applied for assistance from ONE HOPE CHARITY. After reviewing the case, the foundation approved the application and provided assistance in the form of milk powder, medication, and a borrowed hospital bed, enabling the family to better care for the elderly woman.
