"The child previously had poor immunity due to heart issues, often falling sick and requiring hospital visits. Now that he has undergone surgery and is growing up healthy, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief. My husband can work without worrying about taking frequent leaves anymore."

1-year-and-6-months-old Muhammad Aathif Bin Afiq, from Permatang Pauh, Penang, was born with a congenital heart defect, vascular stenosis, and cardiac swelling. After spending three months in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) relying on oxygen assistance, he was finally discharged. Due to his weakened immune system resulting from his heart condition, he frequently suffers from bacterial infections, leading to hospitalizations, along with recurrent fevers and coughs. Therefore, surgery is urgently needed to treat his condition.

With the donations from the public, the required RM85,000 surgery fee for Muhd Aathif was raised within 1 day and 4 hours. He underwent heart surgery on February 6th and was discharged to reunite with his family on February 13th.

The parents are very grateful for the donations and blessings from the public, which have enabled the child to successfully undergo surgery and overcome his heart condition.
