“We brought some Eid al-Fitr food today to share with you all. Once again, I express my gratitude to One Hope Charity and all donors, allowing my child to undergo surgery successfully. Your contributions and donations will always be remembered in our hearts.”

The single mother has always worried about her child, Muhammad Daniel Irfan’s health condition, and the hefty heart surgery fee has left them feeling helpless. Now, Daniel Irfan has undergone heart surgery, his worried mother can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

The 18-year-old teenager, Muhammad Danial Irfan bin Hairunezam, underwent heart surgery on March 21st and was transferred to a normal ward on March 23rd. After several days of observation, he was successfully discharged and returned home for recuperation on March 28th.

Daniel Irfan was born with three holes in his heart, two of which have closed after treatment during infancy, leaving only one that remains open. He has regular follow up at hospital every year.

Unexpectedly, during the check-up last year, it was discovered that his heart had enlargement, preventing him from engaging in vigorous physical activity, and any fall could be fatal. Doctor advised immediately surgery. Facing the daunting RM90,000 surgery cost, his family sought assistance from One Hope Charity.

With the fundraising efforts of  One Hope Charity, the required RM90,000 surgery fee for Daniel Irfan was raised within 22 hours. His mother was extremely excited and touched by this, and she expressed heartfelt gratitude to the public for the assistance, stating that she would give back to society in the future.

Just after Eid al-Fitr, Daniel Irfan visited One Hope Charity’s office on April 18th with his mother to deliver thank-you cards, expressing their gratitude to the public. At the same time, they also brought along some Eid al-Fitr cookies, sharing the festive atmosphere with our team.
