3-and-a-half-year-old Navya Sashikumar has successfully undergone cochlear implant surgery! She was scheduled for surgery in early December this year and was allowed to go home for rest two days after the operation. Seeing his daughter able to undergo the surgery and activate the cochlear implant, father Sashikumar a/l Muniandy feels deeply joyful.

"Thank you all for your blessings and prayers, we can never fully repay them. Without your help, none of this would have been possible... I promise to extend a helping hand to those in need within my capabilities in the future."

With the wound healed after the stitches were removed, Navya officially had her cochlear implant activated in January. She is currently undergoing speech therapy, learning pronunciation, and sound recognition.

Navya was diagnosed with heart, thyroid, and hearing problems after birth. Her parents have made every effort over the years to ensure that she receives the necessary treatment. Unable to afford the high cost of RM 90,000 for the cochlear implant surgery, they have decided to seek assistance from this foundation for the remaining RM 75,000 needed.
