76-year-old Ng Weng Chai from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, was recently arranged to stay in a nursing home to spend his remaining years in peace. Although he initially expressed a desire to go back home, he has started to adjust and adapt to the environment, and now his condition is gradually improving.

Despite having five children, two of them suffer from mental illness, one is unable to take care of himself due to a car accident, and one is missing. The eldest daughter is left to take care of her parents and siblings while also managing her own family and three children who are still in school, leaving her feeling overwhelmed.

With tears in her eyes, the daughter expressed that she bears the burden of everything at home, and the financial strain on her own family adds to the pressure. However, she feels helpless and resigned to her situation.

It is reported that a Member of Parliament and the Welfare Department have begun assisting the two sisters in applying for welfare assistance.

With the required RM 50,000 raised for their father's care, she expresses deep gratitude to the public for their support. Despite her efforts to persuade her mother to move to the nursing home, her mother remains unwilling, leaving her to continue providing meals for her elderly mother at home.
