Ngu Zee Wei, 35, from Machang Bubok, Bukit Mertajam, with a spinal curvature of 90 degrees, finally underwent surgery arranged by the hospital on January 12th. The operation was successful, and after being observed in the hospital, Ngu Zee Wei was discharged on the 16th to recover at home.

Finally able to straighten her body, Ngu Zee Wei will need about two months of rest before she can resume her normal activities. Recently, she visited One Hope Charity's office to express gratitude and thank the public for their assistance, allowing her to undergo surgery as soon as possible.

Ngu Zee Wei had been living with a scoliosis of 90 degrees. Without intervention, her condition would worsen by 1 degree annually, possibly leading to paralysis eventually. This terrified the young mother, but for the sake of herself and her child, despite her fears, she bravely chose surgery.

She and her husband are deeply grateful for One Hope Charity's approval to raise funds and for the generous donations from the public, which enabled Ngu Zee Wei to undergo surgery smoothly. They feel indebted and promise to continue to help others in need.

Originally from Penang, Ngu Zee Wei has had spinal curvature issues since her teenage years. Despite experiencing back pain and assuming breathing difficulties were due to nasal issues, it wasn't until she noticed her severe body curvature and sought medical help that she learned about the 90-degree spinal curvature and the breathing difficulties caused by lung compression.
