"I am deeply moved to see people from all three major races coming forward to donate and help cover Nuha Ufairah's medical expenses. I am truly grateful to everyone who has extended a helping hand, giving the child the opportunity to undergo surgery."

Nuha Ufairah bt Ahmad Najzil Mukhsin, a 1-year-old girl from Kuala Kangsar, is as active as any other child her age and rarely shows signs of cyanosis. However, she experiences rapid breathing and becomes breathless if she runs continuously. She also shows signs of breathing difficulty at night. This is due to her condition, ventricular septal defect (VSD), with one of the holes near the heart valve. Now that the necessary surgery funds of RM 68,000 have been raised, the parents are extremely grateful for the generosity of the public, granting their daughter a chance for surgery.
